HTC Vive is a head-mounted display produced by HTC in cooperation with Valve. It is one of the largest VR technologies that have come onto the market so far.
Users attract the HTC Vive and stand in their perception in a new gaming world. Since 2016, the HTC Vive has been available to everyone on the market.
It is very exciting and believe me, until you have tried this virtual reality experience yourself, you don’t know virtual reality. It has zero lag and is simply the best VR set’s I have tested so far.
We are developing HTC Vive VR Apps in a collaboration with the Kaunas University Hospital to set up one of its kind Virtual Reality Healing Lab to investigate further on the strong results from clinical studies on the positive effect of VR healing sessions for trauma patients.
This will be just one of many new opportunities this technology will bring.
The HTC Vive includes a display featuring two 1080 x 1200 screens, one for each eye. This gives it a total resolution of 2160 x 1200 pixels with 9:5 aspect ratio. Screens are running at 90 Hz. The VR helmet features a small front camera, so it can overlay real world onto the virtual setting.
HTC Vives comes with a “connector box” which has USB and HDMI plugs on both sides. One side for the PC, another for the VR helmet itself.
Vive has a standard 3.5mm jack on the side for the headphones.
Gaming platform SteamVR. Vive requires NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 /Radeon R9 280 equivalent or greater. Intel Core i5-4590 equivalent and 4G of RAM are a must to have for perfect VR experience.
